AHHHHH…there is nothing like good conversation and meeting new people while eating mussels, spicy fries, and a nice cold drink on a docked boat. It’s the evening, a clear night, with the stars out, a light breeze brushing against the skin, and hair swaying in the air with the rhythm of the music and the currents of the sea. This may sound like the introduction to a harlequin romance novel, but it was the evening earlier tonight. The night ended in an even calmer note, driving with the windows rolled all the way down, and deep house music blasting on the radio. While stopped at a red light, it was just long enough to take a glance up in the sky and admire all those bright stars and the “luna” (moon) which illuminated the high-rise building below and accompanying grandfather clock. Do you think I even looked at the time? No, my friends, I cranked up the music even louder, rived up the engine, and continued to drive in a forward direction…into the unknown…into a peaceful good night’s sleep.
