My short story, Los Chorritos de Valeria, an empowering narrative based on my curly hair journey as a little kid and the inspiring relationship with my mother, is featured in the anthology, Peinate: Hair Battles Between Latina Mothers & Daughters. Los Chorritos de Valeria was inspired by my upbringing in the vibrant Upper West Side, and this piece was written to reflect the love, acceptance, and empowerment my mother instilled in me. The different stories written in Peinate explores themes of conflict, acceptance, insecurity, and identity, and their impact on familial bonds. The Pearl Inside the Orchid” is a powerful anthology blending poetry and art to evoke deep emotions and reflections. As an Associate Producer, I was honored to have my artworks, Burst, Waves, and Confusion featured as background designs in various scenes which added an artistic touch to the show’s visual experience. Blue Wall: The Series, is a police procedural web show that defied the conventions of typical cop dramas. Blending elements of mystery and thriller, the series echoed the intensity of “The Shield” and the intrigue of “The Usual Suspects,” captivating audiences with its unpredictable twists and a surprising finale.
