A quiet moment before the crowd arrived. My hands resting near my poetry book, ready to be shared with the world. There was something grounding about seeing it there on the table, sunlight catching the cover, like a small promise fulfilled.
The festival in full rhythm, tents scattered across the field, voices drifting through the air. People wandered between poets and painters, laughter mixing with the hum of words and wind. It felt like the whole day was alive with language.

The Ring of Daisies banner, bright against the sky. This was the heart of the festival’s spoken word circle, where I stepped up to the mic and let my words fly. The name fit the spirit perfectly, wild, free, and blooming with sound.
