To Arcadia and Back

Poem by Gaudys Laxury

Sitting with the family waiting for the flight; new adventures on arrival and above new heights. ecuador The ticket counter, security point, hot air, long lines; but after all is said and done we’ve done this a thousand times. While hanging back before the hours and the departure gate; why not take some pictures for good times as we wait. The people in the waiting room so diverse from left to right; including the different airlines from morning tonight. Up in the air with comfort insight; take-off is at bay towards our destination alright. With the blink of an eye, we arrive on precious land; as we trance and trolley all hand in hand. The joys of this beautiful country, the people, food, and sea; it’s as if without a doubt it’s all meant to be. Alas as time goes by, the great music, warm air, and tropical vibes; with another blink of an eye, it’s time to say our good-byes. And it’s back into the airport– so hard to say farewell; to “la Perla del pacifico” and probably back to hell. But with hopes, this trip has cast a spell on the stressful mind, and to conquer the waiting obstacles we first left behind.
